John Huba, a New York native, discovered his passion at sixteen when he started working for his local newspaper, The Peekskill Evening Star. He moved to New York City and worked with legendary photographer Bruce Weber before venturing out on his own.
John’s celebrity & travel editorial work has appeared in Rolling Stone, Interview, W, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Town & Country, British Elle, Vanity Fair, Travel & Leisure, Mens Journal, Outside, In Style, Four Seasons magazine, Audubon and the New York Times Magazine.
Huba is a respected director for commercials and film. His humorous yet poignant documentary “Hey Vinny” was nominated for an Emmy award. He is responsible for the launch of the original Old Navy campaign with Carrie Donovan. His short film “Seamus” premiered at the 2012 Woodstock Film Festival. He directed the series “Agents of Change” sponsored by Buick for Vanity Fair, which featured Warby Parker, The Summit Series and Lauren Bush.
John and his wife live in New York with their two daughters and dog, Moose.
